What's new

Hornets At Jazz: 3/16/15 7 PM Mountain Time

Hood looks like the game is slowing down for him. He is like a Detlef Schrimpf/ Chris Mullen type.

Hood''s elevation on his jumper is insane. He can get open anytime he wants with how he stops and elevates on his pull up. He is going to get fouled a lot too on his jumper as defenders get over aggressive chasing him off the ball.

He knows it too. When he decides to shoot, he elevates and shoots without hesitation. Even on his pull-up jumpers he gets great lift and jumps straight up. Great high release point and follow through too. Just beautiful.

"Home floor has returned to Energy Solutions Arena." --Steve Brown, being incomprehensible with Rod Hood in post-game interview.

Hot Rod Hoodley.

New rule. If the Jazz win by 30 at home they should play "Popcorn Popping On The Apricot Tree" on the final offensive play. The whole crowd could and would sing along.

Look at the box score, not a single individual offensive performance jumps out except Hood's and we still win by 30.
