How bad/good is Cody Williams?

Today was GOOD Cody Williams. The majority of the people in this thread can get bent.
5-12 from the field (42%), 2-6 from 3 (33%), 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 14 points, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 turnover, plus minus of zero in 25 minutes. Not bad at all. Which is good for Cody.

I was pleasantly surprised by his ok play out there.

He looked decwnt in SL last year. I think the removal of Clarkson and Sexton will give him more opportunity and two older players fone he often deferred to. Hope he steps up.

Baby steps, but steps none the less. He just needs time. (Said with fingers crossed.) I really hope it works out for him. To shut up the critics if nothing else.

I thought he looked comfortable and fast attacking with the ball in hand. But if he gets the slightest bump by the defender then he gets knocked off balance. His slight build is definitely detrimental right now. Not sure he can do much about that this season.

And let’s not forget that incredible non-fouling defense on Edgecombe’s final attempt to win the game.

I dunno man... He's been showing a little something this summer. Him taking a step would be absolutely massive for this team's future.

I originally said I thought he'd be out of the league in a few years. I change my opinion on that. He clearly put in a ton of work this offseason. He's also still really young and raw.

Overall he just looks smooth out there. They way he moves and his shot, it's just smooth. I think he finds a place in the NBA and on the Jazz.
