What's new

How can the Jazz neutralize Lauri?

Wishing for and celebrating injuries is disgusting.

Dismissing a player being carried off in obvious pain as a "boo-boo" may be a part of someone rationalizing their own behaviour.

And you might think that defending your "new friends" might make them like you better, but it doesn't work in high school and neither on internet forums.

Lmao. You are the one who said injuries are equal. How is a boo-boo all of a sudden inferior to a contusion, yet contusion is comparable to more serious injuries? That makes absolutely no sense.

Also where did I say Lauri had a boo-boo? I just used that term to highlight the spectrum of injuries. If you decide to reply, at least have the decency to read the post.

Lauri didn't play last night vs Nuggetts because the personal reason was that Lauri and his wife had their third baby born last night.
Lauri's knee which got hurt vs Spurs seems to be OK so now all of you guys can stop all bs speculations of Lauri's ''injury''.
Congrats. For real to Lauri and fam.

Now… somewhat in jest… I can’t stress enough how important it is for his family that he be there and support them for the first 6-8 weeks. Take all the time needed.

He`s a Nordic dude so offer him to take out some of the mandatory parental leave months we are required to take over here. We could make it our own version of the superstar treatment.
It’s racist not to offer it. Or cultural appropriation or HIPAA… I mean it’s something for sure that the NBA can’t investigate.

Yes, wishing for and celebrating all injuries is disgusting. You seem to be only one thoroughly triggered by that.

And massive congrats to Lauri and Verna! That sure is a pretty good reason to not want to be traded in-season when you have a two-month old baby.

lauri is still improving his game like all of the other players, and ironically as he tries to become more iso, he has 'contributed to the tank'. also he needs to be on the floor to integrate his game with his teammates and to be an example of good play. i still believe that the team is actually trying to develop their youth first, while losing games is only a biproduct.

I think that was the plan, but with Tay Henny injury and Cody being unplayable.. the development year seems delayed to next year anyways (+ whatever rookies we get).

DA may already be setting up his foldable garage sale table, and Hardy will polish the products.

do you guys want three more rookies again? i think that's how many picks we have this off season. teams haven't been willing to trade up lately so yeah, three picks.....again. sure, one might be top five, and that's great but man, that's a lot of guys who have no idea what they are doing.

There are real exceptions though. Some rookies are ready to play on NBA level from the start, although might struggle in the playoffs (without experience, who wouldn't?). E.g. Jason Tatum and even Donovan Mitchell looked quite NBA ready when they came in.

I agree that getting three NBA ready rookies is more than a stretch though.
