How do you post non miniature pictures?

This isnt a question for me, its just a question for a friend of mine.

How does he post non miniature pictures if they are saved on his computer? He understands how to Biggie size his pics from cruising the webz but not ones on his computation station.

Can anyone answer this? My friend is a bit slow and could use the help.
