IDK honestly.

I'm also enjoying the woke AF Warriors saying they are pioneering a way to get 10k fans in the arena and are bravely going to fund the effort...

Let me translate - we need/want the gate receipts and are willing to do a test and use our fans as guinea pigs... but if we spin it the right way then we aren't being capitalists we are doing this for the greater good #lightyears

The only way I see this working. Nfl players are getting Covid at a decent rate, but they are fully clothed with helmets where as nba players probably have more contact for longer stretches and where a tank top and shorts. This could get ugly unless that vaccine gets here soon I wonder if the nba is banking on that.
 
How are grocery stores open? Walmart? Mcdonald's?

Outside of a complete lockdown they can just do what other sports are doing. Teams will have outbreaks so I'm guessing games will be postponed or flat out cancelled but it shouldn't derail the season.

These guys are getting tested every single day. People at Walmart arent even properly masked, some not even wearing them, and thousands upon thousands of different people are touching the same stuff and breathing the same air. It's a lot easier to keep tabs on a few hundred and quarantining and tracing them as need be like they will in the nba than it is a place that maybe a few hundred of people go in and out of in an hour.

Have you seen the Australian covid figures? I assume you haven’t and I’ll wait.

In the meantime, it is spring heading into summer there. We are headed in the abyss in this anti-intellectual wonderland.
 
I am a season ticket holder and have heard nothing. I agree they should not let fans in and I am hoping they dont do something stupid so we get charged for tickets that no one should be using.

Their numbers are way lower than the US but one of the provinces had a lockdown recently.

If they are being quarantined, sure. Are they, or are they traveling from city to city?

If you set up 5-6 bubbles, and play several games each before traveling, maybe you can keep this under control. Maybe not.
