How many people thinks we would reach to the nba finals if we kept Deron?

How far would jazz go entering from 8th spot and keeping deron?

thats the only question i have about deron. He is better than Rose as a point guard but i have question marks about deron as a leader. He is just blaming all everyone else but not himself. he just gets frustrated when he lose instead of trying harder to win next time
You really think he's better than Rose? Head to head Rose absolutely destroyed him.

He had the strained wrist the first game, and I think he didnt play in the second. It wasnt an absolute destruction, Deron just turned it over on 3 back-to-back plays, nothing of "destruction" calibre.

Go ahead and use your bias. But, when Dwill was on the team playing good you all were all over his jock and now you think KOC is the king of GM for getting rid of him.

The fans were beginning to sour on him before the trade. Him being traded was still a huge shock. BTW national broadcasters have praised the Jazz for not allowing the team to go through the turmoil that Denver did this year.

I agree for what was happening with Dwill we did the best. But, that isn't taking into consideration that moves were made to anger Dwill. And we will only see in the coming years if the trade was worth it.

Injuries killed our playoff aspirations this year. Whether DWill was here (and remember HE was also playing hurt & it affected his game) or not had no bearing on our making the playoffs. Our worst fears came to fruition when Okur was unable to play virtually the entire season. We also learned Millsap is not any more consistantly effective than Boozer was offensively. In fact, his rebounding diminished as he tried to take on Boozer's scoring. Jefferson is not the outside scoring threat Okur is, and even Miles is wildly inconsistant. I honestly think if Okur had been healthy that would have had a bigger positive impact on us than DWill staying.

Locke made a pretty compelling argument a while back that we were on a very steep path to make the playoffs even with Deron still around. With the fact that Deron was already hurt compounded with the other injury issues the team was having, I feel pretty confident that we weren't headed to the playoffs.
