We will have about 70 million to spend by that time. I think we will be good... My biggest worry is Hayward... he might decide to test FA in 2 years and if we are not on the verge of contending, he might choose to leave for a contender, and there will be plenty contenders willing to pay him if he keeps playing the way he did last year.

Not so much the money but that all 3 can just up and leave...

Gobert would need to take a major risk to do it(take the QO). He will be a RFA. We can probably get him for 5 year max or thereabout if he keeps developing. I kind of feel confident Favors likes it in Utah and he'd be more than willing to get a big deal and keep playing for the Jazz...

This is why the NBA needs a hard cap. It's one thing to have a bunch of players up and leave with shorter deals. It's another to have the two finals teams paying 180-200 million in payroll while Utah is at 65 million.

Let's take it slow and Bake that cake. Hayward and Favors will have patience. They won't mind waiting until they're 30 to play for a contender.

Srsly this off season sux
