You do know who Austin Reaves is right?
We can probably put this to bed with the addition of Collins and the retention of THT and Olynyk. JC opting in will remove the cap space necessary to make an offer, and his opting out will remove the ability to trade him (which I think is the wrinkle that might get the Lakers to loosen their grip).

Yes I am well aware of who Austin Reaves is. Tony suggested maxing him out to play PG. Unless you believe he can play PG, not sure why you'd give him $100M to play the 2/3 and stunt the development of guys like Ochai, George, Sensabaugh, etc.
Yeah I still don’t think we’re talking about the same player…

Everyone on options being retained and grabbing Collins killed any chance of this happening.
