I loved him in the draft. I thought he'd be a great defensive player. Even with them taking Exum and Hood, I was hoping that they'd just give their 2nd round pick and cash to buy a late 1st to pick him. As far as his value, I'd have a hard time offering him a ton simply because he'd be a 3 and D specialist. I wouldn't hate it if the Jazz go after him, but they should have just saved some money and figured out a way to draft him.
They really need a #1 alpha scorer right now. . . their "Reggie White", to quote DL. Ideally, that guy would be a 4 who can shoot the ball. . . but that's what they need more than a defensive specialist. He'd be great, and I'd love to have him. . . but they need to focus on acquiring an All Star.
