How was Kanter's performance in Eurobasket?

I voted "better than expected" because I didn't expect much, not after missing an entire year of basketball and beijng so young. That said, I think he'll have minimal impact for the Jazz in Year 1. I still expect him to average 10-15 mins/per. It generally takes bigs longer to develop their games and the Jazz have 3, perhaps 4 (if Okur is healthy) players already to rotate at the 4/5. Burks will have a better rookie season.

I'll admit I was not a huge fan prior to the draft. With Favors, Jefferson and Miilsap, the Jazz appeared set at PF/C. I was thinking more along the lines of PG/SF. But I've since warmed up to the pick and I know why KOC drafted the way he did. If Enes and Favors develop into all-star type players, teams will have a very hard time matching up inside.

I agree with that, and I doubted his ability for a #3 pick, but I won't get too excited until he does it in the big leagues. But a lot of things I saw should translate well into the NBA.

in this draft being a #3rd pick doesn't guarantee he will even be as good as Tyrus Thomas, but he apparently is , so its a pretty good choice at 3.

Considering the poor team play and the terrible coach, he looked pretty good to me. Going to be a 20 point scorer in the NBA eventually in my opinion. But he isn't as tall as I expected and doesn't have great hops so he's going to have to learn how to play D like Malone did, with his body and hands. He's got the same type of body and could become just as strong.
