Obviously you've yet to hear about the death of a child in Newport News, VA.
20% is way worse! Obviously.

Guys, I just heard some crazy stuff. It turns out that "Hurricane" Irene is a SPOOF!!!! "Irene" is a conspiracy to boost the local gas, food, and supply economy in the NYC area. And apparently it is WORKING!!!! I've heard that people on Long Island are going crazy!!!!!! It's probly pretty safe to assume that that can be estrappolated to the rest of the city and maybe even a wider area. Is anyone around there that can confirm this??!?!?!? Obama is a great President, theres no denying that, so I can't get too mad at him. But he knows he needs to get the economy BOOMING again if he wants ANY chance at relection. So this is actually a pretty smart move. Whats the best place to get the economy going again?!?!?!?? NYC of course. I just wanted to let you guys know so if your in the area you don't waste your own money. Try to limit this information to very close people to you though because if everyone knows then the economy boost plan won't work right, so just family and very close friends, PLEASE.
The-Joker said:Ya there's going to be recovery... when my family who are Fishermen in Eastern North Carolina lose the pier they fish off of and are evacuated from their homes and jobs. When the power goes out and all the fish stored in the freezers they have goes bad. Hence losing their source of income for an unstated time. Yep, recovery.
This is tasteless, go **** yourself.
I know I used some big/strange words but use dictionary.com if you dont understand.
Prove it.I probably have the most hurricane experience on anyone on this board.
And once again the rest of the nation watches in disbelief over the east's overreaction to an over hyped storm.
So the EC receives a 5.9 earthquake with minimal damage. By the media's reaction, you'd swear that NYC had fallen into the Atlantic.
You then have a cute rain storm hit the EC, and you'd swear that it was Katrina x10. A weekend or two ago, Utah County got hit with some strong wind gusts and rain. Should we have evacuated? Canceled work for days? Cried to the media?
In a few months, the EC might get hit with an inch or two of snow, all business will stop and school will be canceled for weeks. Crazy panic will erupt as somehow the EC feels entitled to perfect weather all the time and everyone's sympathy anytime anything ever happens to them.
Meanwhile, the rest of the nation could be dumped with feet of snow, and nothing would be heard of on the TV.
Lamestream media and the EC bias is getting so old. Kinda like how Pitt can somehow keep getting into BCS bowl games even though the Big East Conference sucks.
Prove it.
Lived on Gulf Coast my whole life. House got trashed (10 feet of water) during Katrina, been through about 6 hurricanes.
Link?
It means that we can like assume the rest of the city is doing something similar. Sorry, sometimes I use strange words LOL
LOL No it's a word. Like I said I sometimes use pretty obscure words that most people haven't even heard of. It's really a word though LOL
