Hypothetical Trade???

Maybe you could get Irving for Gobert and Exum, but I don't think you can really make that trade, much as I wish you could.
 
With Lyles possibly a long-term solution at PF and with more range than Favors, do you trade Favors and Burke for Kyrie?

You evaded my question. So who do you think would be a fair market trade for Gobert? which PG could we get for him? Same question for SG? SF? PF?

If you are going to blast people for not understanding Rudy's value, you should be able to articulate what you believe his value to be, instead of just saying "you're wrong" It is the difference between being a critic (which takes no courage) and having the spine to put your beliefs out there as well.
 
No way. Seriously - if we gave Burke 31 MPG he'd have Irving's numbers or close to it. Also, Burke is a better 3-pt shooter than Irving and we all understand why Burke is our third-string PG.

Look at what Mack did to Irving (he almost had a triple-double and shut Irving down). Irving chucked it 7-23. And he went 6-22 his last game against Brooklyn. This trade is laughable and some Jazz fans don't consider defense. Heck, let's let Exum shoot the ball 25 times a game and I bet he'll make more than six shots. Plus Exum plays DEFENSE.

I'm no Kyrie fan, but you are missing the value he brings in a big way. The Burke analogy is preposterous. And you have cherry picked his worst games.
 
I like Kyrie and think Cleveland has never been a great situation for him. Obviously he needs to pass and facilitate more than he typically does. The injuries are a concern, and his defense is spotty. I think he would be available in the right trade. His value ought to be in the Kyle Lowry range if medical reports check out. I'm not sure if he really fits what Quin is trying to do though.

No way the Clippers trade Paul for Irving. Paul >>> Irving and is the core of the Clippers franchise.

I didn't cherry pick anything. I gave stats from HIS LAST Game as well as the Jazz game everyone on this forum saw. There's a reason LeBron can win with the Heat and not the Cavs. It's because Irving and Love can't defend. Their offense can get them past the first round but not against teams that can score and/or play defense.
 
Man, the other day, I was just thinking about how much I hate being a good defensive team. How great would it be to trade away Gobert and Favors for Irving and Love? Yeah, I'm kinda thinking we should try and get back to the good ole days when we all loved guys like Boozer and Al Jefferson, despite their defensive liabilities. Good times.
