You claim to understand this, but then repeatedly go to anecdotal examples of single items in local scopes. I'm happy you did well in the past few years, but that again is an anecdotal example.
When I view the state of broad, complex systems, I don't look to anecdotes. I choose metrics that speak to the scope I'm talking about. Inflation is rising slower than wages. Broadly speaking, the prices of the things we buy are rising slower than the amount of income we are earning to pay for those things. That means people can buy more than they could in year's past, and their approval of that state of things is being reflected in the job approval ratings for our current President.
Your side screwed the pooch and were voted out of power for their abject failure. It is too early to declare victory, but so far I am liking what the new cooks are preparing in the kitchen. We'll see how it comes out.

Yes. Inflation is up 3%, but when paired with the wage numbers released a few days ago showing that wages are up 4%, it means Americans have more money in their pockets. That is a far cry from the 9% inflation under Biden, with stagnant wages.Huh. Will you look at that.
Many commonly purchased goods and services got more expensive in January, driving inflation in the wrong direction and to its highest rate since June of last year.

But my wallet was much better off a few months ago than now. Now consumers are paying out of their asses for groceries. Real Americans just can’t afford Trump.
