What's new

I could totally see myself worshiping Satan.

What a hilarious story.

I agree. If someone were to do it about the Mo's, I probably wouldn't think it was all that funny, but anything that mocks those **** dick Westboro Baptists is A-OK in my book.

Holy ****, I have not laughed that hard in a long time.... one of the funniest things I have ever read

I have a hard time believing that the Westboro baptist church is anything other than a media-hyped organization to accomplish their agenda by giving coverage. According to Wikipedia, they claim 40 members. Every time there's a national tragedy, all they need to do is state they're going to protest and the media pounces on the story and hypes it up. How often have you ever actually seen them follow through on their protesting plans? Still, the media gives coverage. Why? There are groups that molest children, distribute child porn, murder people, etc. that get much, much, much less coverage than this minuscule band of nincompoops that it makes you question whether the idea is to continue to push the belief that this type of extremism is more mainstream and to caricaturize Christianity.

I don't think anyone believes the Westboro Baptist Church represents Christianity or Christians. I don't think it's a conspiracy they simply get coverage because of their protests off dead soldiers. The public isn't controlled by the media the media is controlled by the public appetite for certain stories. I don't think they should get coverage either. You may not be pro Satanist, but you gotta give him props for this one.

I'm sorry, but that's a bunch of nonsense. Not everything is a conspiracy to undermine your faith. Of course Westboro Church is going to get so much attention. Anyone with this level of crazy would. And the other stuff you mentioned get even more coverage. Or did we already forget about this month's Rolling Stones cover? More importantly, the idea that "you shouldn't talk about <blank> because <other blank> is worse" already has a a vibrant following on Youtube's comment section. You should voice your concerns there.

They actually carry out a high number if their protests. They have done something like 10,000.
