And Cassius Stanley will come in and give us what Mike did this year... see anyone can say wild ****.Also, Jalen Harris is going to be a much better NBA player than JC and it seems like he can be had in the 40s/50s of this draft.
Holiday and Dunn will not get minimums bruh... they will be closer to full MLE. Shaq maybe... but even then I'd pay him twice the min on a multi year deal.Depends on how much he wants for that extension and what alternatives we have for not bringing him back. JC is definitely one of the best options for our MLE unless Wood is available. Other guys like Justin Holiday, Dunn or Shaq Harrison aka "defense specialists" should be available for minimum deals. So getting these guys to strengthen our bench depth doesn't interfere with our process of resigning JC.
Then let’s get him and sign JC and move him later if that’s what’s best. Letting JC walk is a straight-up mistake. Also, Jalen Harris is going to be a much better NBA player than JC and it seems like he can be had in the 40s/50s of this draft.
What team with space is coming for him? Detroit, Charlotte, Atlanta, or NY? None really make sense. He's in the MLE tier market. if he gets more its because we did a sign and trade imo. It's not what we want but what JC wants at this point. He has a decent market and teams with cap space will be after him. We do need to figure out plan B in case we lose him, and that decision needs to be made quick
Holiday maybe but both Dunn and Shaq should be fairly gettable. Dunn comes with some serious injury risks and I doubt any team would want to sign him to multi year guarantee deal. But i agree with you on Harrison. If we can sign him to multi-year for something a bit more than just the min, we'd jump on it.Holiday and Dunn will not get minimums bruh... they will be closer to full MLE. These lotto teams are the ones that scare you the most. Who knows how many more overpriced contracts these teams FOs are willing to throwWhat team with space is coming for him? I think Dunn will find a BAE or taxpayer MLE somewhere but there will be some guys that end up finding the market fairly cold.Holiday maybe but both Dunn and Shaq should be fairly gettable. Detroit gonna tank, NY doesn't want multi year deals... Atlanta... maybe. Charlotte gonna get Russ and JC not really a fit. I think those teams are aiming for younger guys. These lotto teams are the ones that scare you the most. Who knows how many more overpriced contracts these teams FOs are willing to throw
Ok, but I'm saying mine with confidence. And Cassius Stanley will come in and give us what Mike did this year... see anyone can say wild ****.
@LoPo says Frankie Smokes is good with confidence too.Ok, but I'm saying mine with confidence.
There is something simple and beautiful about having him go out and carry the team on offense with the bench units. every now and again he goes nuclear and wins you a game by himself. He's pretty friggin consistent too.I understand that JC is not perfect but he is basically a "one person second unit" on his own. With our depth problems it's a perfect solution to keep him for now.
Not so high on him cuz he had some recurring MCL issues that can really mess with your lateral quickness that you need as a perimeter defender. It could be a reminiscent of the Conley deal, when you aren't getting something that you thought you’d be getting.I think Dunn will find a BAE or taxpayer MLE somewhere but there will be some guys that end up finding the market fairly cold.
