What's new

I fear this could come true

You live in St. Louis but know Jason?

That depends on what you mean by "know". I've been posting on JazzFanz for over a decade, but never met anyone on the board in meatspace. We've had the paywall discussion before.

Fear, could be, what if .....

I read a quote earlier this week from Confucious or some other smart dude who said something like: I am at peace because I do not allow myelf to feel despair or joy until there is a reason to.

No reason to despair about stuff in the future that you can not control.

This Confucious guy rocks! I think we both misspelled his name though.

None of our young players seem overly egotistic, so I don't think we need to worry too much about them wanting to be in the bright lights of Broadway or Hollywood. Especially not right now. And if they all do pan out, then I can see them wanting to stick together to go for some championships. After all, winning is just as big a reason for superstars wanting to team up as the "big market" factor is, so if they all turn out to be stars, I think they'll realize they have just as good of a chance at winning a title together as they do going to some big market team. I'm not too worried about this.

Star players don't bail on their championship-caliber teams just to be in a bigger market, at least not if they're getting paid.

Kanter/Favors 1 of 2 turns out to be an All-Star
Hayward/Burks - 1 of 2 becomes an All-Star

Out of the other 2 that don't become an All-Star they become a top tier boarderline star

If it played out that way we have our main 3 and can keep them all.

Odds of that happening - 1.4%
