If you also follow the European basketball, you just watch the pleasure of team work without the certain dominance of all star players. The sharp tactics on offense by sharing the ball perfectly and finding the right guy at the right time and on defense, covering the flaws of other players' by help defense are just amazing to watch. The 2003-2004 Pistons were the same taste in my mouth. They were representing the Detroit employees and carrying the same spirit with perfect example of modesty. They got no-named role players but with perfect chemistry and right tactics, eliminated the lakers.

So, the vision of me for the Jazz is that Pistons team. Perfect home crowd cheering for the players and making the pressure over the opponents. The tough defensive effort at the paint with the big men trio of Kanter, Favors and Millsap. The backcourt defense with Hayward and PG, disturbing the guards. The defense will be the honour issue for the team.On offense, no player will be holding the ball more than PG and pushing too much to score. No player will be complaining about the minutes and breaking the chemistry down. The young players will be showing their energy and winning desire more than anyone and getting lots of credit from the whole NBA fans. The antipathy of big market teams such as Lakers, Clippers, Heat will even increase more. Malone, Ostertag, Stockton will be commenting the conference and NBA final. Charles Barkley will be guessing the jazz "the biggest championship candidate" and discussing with shaq and abusing him. Kanter will be having the more double double than anyone in the league, Favors will be the DPOY, Burks will be the 6th man of the year and Hayward will be 5x5 guy. Even Kanter will be dancing at the championship night and Favors will be speaking and thanking to the fans for their support. Captain Millsap will be grabbing the trophy and even posing without being hyped up as always. I really do not know the date but 2014-2015 season would be ideal for it. The matured young guys of Kanter, Favors,Hayward and Burks with the veteran players.

It is all about taste. Some fans just get excited of dunks and blocks and they always hope that one superstar comes out and score all points and become hero. The fans like me believe in the team and try to observe of team play while getting the efficiency from all players. So The Bulls team right now for me is more fun to watch than Heat. The piston team was more fun to watch than Lakers. The main idea is seeing the team effort and chemistry out there, not waiting for someone to score +30 points.

I like watching team ball as much as the next Jazz fan, but at the same time I want to see some nice highlight plays and grown men dunking on other grown men. Not a bunch of jump shots.

Of course, the amazing highlights are always fun to watch but European basketball is more complicated than NBA. The small ball of Suns with the Di Antoni and the jump shooter of PF with the dominant Center idea in many of NBA teams also native of Europe. I can imagine that some European coaches will get the job in USA soon. Example, Ettore Messina is big name for Lakers right now. If you look at the jazz young core roster, this team can really come togather and be dangerous for the opponents by sharing the ball and taking the resbonsiblity equally. Noone will be like Kobe, Rose, Duncan etc but more dangerous as a union.

I doubt European coaches are going to be getting HC jobs in the NBA anytime soon. D'antoni ball doesn't work in the NBA if you want to win rings.

I watched the Euro league tourney this year. I didn't see anything complicated. I saw a bunch of chuckers shooting jump shots.

Also, question for anyone who keeps up with Euro basketball leagues, do any of y'all keep up with the Italian league?

Just curious because my boy Jarvis Varnado is beasting according to his stats this year.

9.6 pts, 5.9 rebounds, 1.9 blocked shots per game in 21.6 minutes per game.

Italian league is not elite and competitive in Europe anymore. Spanish, Turkish, Greek and Russian leagues are worth to watch.

The players' quality effects the result though the flow of the game and using the angle of the passing lanes, spacing are more team wised and better than NBA. The minutes are given to players due to performance, not names of them. The last min or critical attack is designed to find the open man, not to give a allstar's hand to attack against 5 players.

The reason I fell in love with the Utah Jazz in the first place was that they played a team game. They moved the ball and had cutters running all over the floor. Great passing and unselfishness is the way Basketball should be played. I really dislike the way the NBA has gone to a more superstar league and the Idea of team work is something that is not heard of in the league today. Its why I became a Jazz fan and well always be a Jazz fan. Because they seem to want to play the game the way its supposed to be played.
