I Like Locke's Thinking

Can't tell if you're avoiding the question by accident or trying to ignore reality.

Only question I saw was if I'd sit Favors and Kanter to play Gobert.

You only have to sit one of them for Gobert to play. this notion that Gobert will ruin their development by playing 10 minutes a game is unsupported and foolish.

Burks - Rush - Kanter - Gobert +1 is fine with me

OMG WTF LMNOP!!!!

Gobert will chew up any and all development and swallow it! The best road for him to to not even dress and just go watch game film.

Gosh ya newb.

There we go, now you're getting it. Let's try to go a little slower this time okay?

Is that slow enough for you? Let's move on then.

Kanter would work best with Gobert on the offensive end because of his mid-range shooting in the way that Malone's mid-range game covered up Mark "Tennis Rackets for Hands" Eaton's offensive liabilities. Stockton ran the pnr/low post sets through Eaton a lot with Malone outside the foul line somewhere on the other side of the floor. The modern game likes more floor spacing but I suspect that two bigs counter lower production with better rebounding.

Kanter-Gobert would would be disastrous defensively though so it's not going to happen much.

We had better let that marinate for 7-10 days to fully absorb. In fact, here's some pictures to help you visualize what all those mumbojumbo word things are explaining.

And this is why attempting conversation with you is like trying to talk to fish by sticking your head in a toilet. You're so cocksure and insulting in your ignorance, just like a teenager.

Then stop coming out with insane stances just because. I am not asking for Gobert to start or even play heavy minutes. 10 minutes a game to put into practice what he is seeing and learning is not going to break the bank. For him or any of the other players. Hell if I had my way Gobert would be playing mostly with players like Garret, Evans and Clark.

Your desire to forward silly stances is what makes talking to you a wasted effort. You have no desire to hear anything else either. So why I may be the kettle you most assuredly are the pot.

Are you going to sit Kanter and Favors both just to get Gobert a little burn then?

Pretty much this. I'd love to see the kid play as much as anyone but don't see it necessary or anywhere close to top priority.

Of course it's a priority to everyone but Corbin and his alter ego, Franklin the Meathead. In fact, I liked the kid the first game I saw him play. He's a force on defense and the more he plays the better he will get. Are we working for the future of the Jazz, or the future of vets like Jeffy and Marv, and the coaching prospects of Corbin? I think we all know the answer to that, except I guess Meathead who refuses to go along with the voices of reason.

Always so saltydawg. Ideas you call "silly", "insane", "foolish", "unsupported" or whatever other preferred adjective pops into your pea sized brain are in fact deeply held, professional opinions that have been promoted by bball greats. Like Jerry Sloan and John Stockton, dumdum.

But if the vaginal folds inside stroked's tiny brain can't comprehend a simple concept then it's stupid and he's going to let you know all about it.

You have yet to back up your assertion that playing Gobert will damage Favors, Trey and now Kanter. Especially when I am mostly talking about playing Gobert while they are on the bench.

Feel free to pretend I am saying something else though. I mean why stop now right?

Put Gobert on the floor with Kanter. Stop playing Marvin as a 4 (even/especially if he's effective as the Jazz have a glut of bigs and he shouldn't even be on the team anyway). I think Gobert can defend in space, at least against other bigs. Whether he can or can't, we need at least one real big to learn to step away from the rim and do something besides flounder defensively (Favors and Gobert should be good at this, I refuse to believe this shortcoming doesn't come down to bad coaching).

He's ready to be apart of the rotation. Especially in a year like this where we have nothing to lose, and everything to gain. I get that he's really raw, but he makes plays. With more minutes I know we see bigger lapses of good play, but still why not see how he responds. He earned the right to fail or take off.

But the coach is Corbin. Alas, I see another D-League stint in the works for Gobert (unless Kanter hurts his hip right when Favors comes back). These hip things are apparently highly contagious.

You never mentioned benching Kanter and Favors for Gobert, even when I asked. Nice attempted backpedal.
