I still think Marco Belinelli would make a good combo guard on the Jazz...

This could be completely irrelevant, unless the Jazz can swing a trade.

It's also true that Belinelli hasn't done that much in the league, but he played on the Warriors behind Monta Ellis. Then he got moved to Toronto when Stephen Curry was drafted, which is another mess of a team. He's only 24. He has combo-guard skills, and he shoots almost 40% from the 3-pt. line.

I think in the Jazz system, he could be a successful rotation player in the 3rd-guard role. I'm not sure what the knock on him is. He handles well, passes well, and shoots well from a number of spots on the floor. To be honest, of all the players in the league, he actually reminds me of Hornacek the most given his feel for the game and the things he's able to do. The Jazz need a guy who can handle, create and pass alongside D.Will. He only makes $1.5mm.

I think the problem is he cannot guard any one. I actually like him and wouldn't mind him mostly because the Jazz are running out of options.
