What's new

I was wrong about Rubio

But I was right about Mitchell. He's not going to supplant Rubio in the starting lineup, but it will be Hood or Jingling, who probably could adjust to coming off the bench. But Joe is playing awfully good and Hood is so inconsistent. Sefolosha has been great; he needs more minutes. Favors hasn't been bad but it seems the small ball being played is not suited to him. He's going to have to develop a 3-ball.

Rubio is really finding his groove now. That Phoenix game is behind him and the Jazz now.

I think Donovan at the 2 is workable because Rubio is a big pg. Would be tough defensively if Rubio were smaller.

It also helps that Quin is so great at finding odd lineups that work. Tonight for example, he had Sefalosha playing small ball 4 on offense while guarding the 1 on defense.

I want to see Rubio do this stuff on the road before I'm comfortable with him having the keys to the franchise.
