Ideal situation

Trade both 2018 1sts, 24 and Lyles to move up to 12 or 13 and draft Zach Collins. That might be enough to get it done.
Use 30 to draft Semi.
Package 42 and 55 to move up to about 35 and draft Kuzma.
Re-sign Hill, Hayward and Ingles.

We could see what this team could do for 50 games. If they crushed it, keep it together. If Faves and Hood both walk, so be it. We could also look to trade them at the deadline.

Backup center situation addressed. Two stretch bigs addressed. Length addressed up front. 3 and d addressed. Athleticism addressed. And we don't lose anyone from the core. We'd have to dump Burks and opt out of Diaw obviously but **** it. This core would rock. And maybe, just maybe, somehow, we could retain Hood.

Ideal situation (within realism).

Donovan Mitchell falls to 12. The Jazz are able to trade Hood and 24 to move up to grab Mitchell.

The Jazz draft Kyle Kuzma at 30.

The Jazz draft Dillon Brooks at 42.

The Jazz draft that dunking Euro PG at 55.

Paul George or Jimmy Butler get traded to the Cavs so moving to the East becomes less appealing to Hayward.

3 1st rounders for a back up?

For an elite stretch 4 or scoring guard then yea. Malik Monk

Great idea.

Ideal situation

- Jazz stay right where they are in the first round landing two steals with Semi Ojeleye at 24 and Jordan Bell at 30.
- With Cleveland going after Paul George the Lakers decide to give a solid offer to Indiana that doesn't cost them Ingram or #2 so that they can ensure that they get George and he doesn't stay in Cleveland long-term.
- A third team facilitates Cleveland in acquiring Jimmy Butler. I hate this. HATE. But it's better than Butler going to Boston.
- After swinging out on acquiring Jimmy Butler, Paul George, Anthony Davis and every other star Boston takes Tatum or Jackson at 3.
- Seeing no major improvement in Boston and their addition of another young player at his position (Tatum/Jackson), Hayward re-signs with the Jazz
