Can you imagine a front line of Sap, Jeff, Fave, and Kanter(assuming he lives up to the hype). Now that is a front line to fear.

Seriously, there are very few teams I can think of that have the depth to counter that. Chicago. The Lakers. Dallas to a point. I'd have to think about it, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't top 5. The difference is 3 of the 4 are legit scoring threats (assuming Kanter comes in a scorer) who can also create their own shot. And if Favors develops his offense even a little, that's really unique.

Why are we so obsessed with trading one of our "bigs?"
Kanter hasn't played in a year. Even if he had, he'd have only ONE year of college ball under his belt. Sure there are a FEW bigs who come into the league ready to play 30 mins. It's way more likely Kanter would play 10-15, increasing to 20 as the season progresses. I also don't think Favors will be ready for 30+ this year. He's still raw. So between the 2, that's like one full-time player for THIS season. And as much as we'd like to put Okur back in the mix, there's a very good chance his career is done. So Favors, Jefferson, Millsap and Kanter...there will be enough PT for all 4. You need three for a regular 4/5 rotation (96 mins total). And what are the chances all 4 would play in all 82 games?

Okur is gone after the season, even if he can play. Jefferson's contract runs for a few more years. That would be perfect, coinciding with the time it will take for Favors and Kanter to become legitimate starters and reliable scorers. No reason to trade anybody, IMO.

Food for thought: Having three PFs that CAN play C does not make one actual C.

And if Kanter even sniffs his ceiling, him and Al will be duplicitous and not in a good way.

Definitely trade Jefferson, because he's a sucky selfish whore who sucks. It's ridiculous that he couldn't lead those stacked T-Wolves and Celtics teams to championships.
Keep Sap, he always kills it in the playoffs (at least in the 0 playoff games that he has started) and he has shown that his body can definitely hold up past the All-Star break playing starter minutes. Also, he always has that mean look on his face so that means that he's way better than Jefferson, who I think I saw smiling once.

But yeah, we definitely don't want too many talented players on this team. Two or three is plenty. Trade the rest for trade exceptions.

You really want to take Millsap down using an argument that makes Jefferson look his worst (playoffs [winning {he doesn't do it}])?

Millsap haters are using a straw-man argument to make their case. "He won't go back to the bench" Says who? Based on what? When has Millsap ever put his wants or needs in front of the team? Cap it off with an argument that he's too-short and that we can't compete with the Lakers lolwtfbbq with him playing any minutes, and you're on your way. But stocking the team with undersized centers is in no way the same exact ****ing thing that Millsap-haters are constantly bemoaning.

Also, I don't think anyone hates Millsap, I just don't have a more succinct way of labeling this mass migration of thought from "Millsap is teh future Mailman!1" to "Sry hes just 2 short plz trade him okthx"

Any ideas?

milsap cant even reach his nut sack to pinch and roll cuz his arms are 2 short haha and hes small
big als numbers since allstar break r as pure as jimmer proof that he will win all cuz he plays 5

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Millsap would be putting up way better numbers than Jefferson if he was given the opportunity to shoot. His FG% is substantially better than Big Al who often just throws up terrible shots down the stretch.

Charles Barkley was one of the best PF's to play the game and he was shorter than Millsap.
