What's new

I'm bored

This shows you how utterly useless the trade thing is other than making sure salaries match. We get Howard and Reddick with Favors and Hayward in the wings and we lose MORE games? Really?

alrighty, how do you feel about Paul George? Why can't I get a ****ing rise out of you folks with this dude?

Evidently he was a great wing defender last year as a rookie. I see no way they trade him. They were very successful the second half of the year and I see them wanting to go a full season with a healthier Granger and more developed George, Hansbrough and Hibbert and naturally, better chemistry. In fact, if they develop as they could, I could see them pushing for the 5 or 6 seed potentially out there.

You don't think they'd bite on the following trade?

Utah trades: Al Jefferson, CJ Miles
Indy trades: George, Posey (expiring), this year's first round pick, (plus a lottery-protected first in '13?)

If Utah can get their hands on Biyombo or Kanter then they just upgraded their team, IMO + get themselves in a better position for upgrading during next season (with Posey and Memo expirings) or positioning themselves for a good run at the '12 free agent class.

BTW, I think Indy takes this trade.

(by "upgrade" I mean that the Jazz aren't wasting their time on Al and they get younger. Next season would likely not result in the playoffs)
