What's new

I'm perplexed...

With what exactly the jazz org. is trying to do.

1. We aren't making the playoffs, and that's a given.

2. I thought this was the year of discovery.

3. We are rebuilding, and this ain't no mystery.

4. As we all know, it makes no sence to win games.

Couple questions

1. Why does it look like we are trying to win, as if we have a chance in hell at making the playoffs

2. Why are Burks and Kanter coming off the bench? As far as I'm concerned we have no idea if Kanter and Favors together works or not, plus they haven't been given enough time to figure it out.

Also, I understand that you need guys like Burks or Kanter to be 6th men while having savvy vets like RJ and marv start, but we are neither a good team or destined to reach the playoffs! So what is the cotton-Picken-point to having these two come off the bench!?!?

I just want to know what the hell is going on in jazz land??

Discuss.

I think the wanting to win thing is a culture thing. DL and KOC seem to feel the Pros of winning outweigh the Cons.

The title of your Thread made me think of this:

"We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed. Perplexed, but not in despair. Persecuted, but not forsaken. Cast down, but not destroyed." -Saint Paul

Besides the fact that I feel it has been a mostly productive year in Jazzland, the fact that most of the people on this forum that I feel are negative nancys and clueless anyway are having fits the whole year make this one of the best in memory.

If that were the case, then why hasn't Lindsay gone to Greg and get his okay to replace Corbin?

But Corbin's rotations are only one of the many problems with his coaching. The guy is just awful; I don't understand how he has survived this long.
No point mid-season. But it is very unlike the Jazz to go this long with a hanging head coach. Normally he would have received his extension by now.

How many coaches get canned during the season? Only a handful.
SO Corbin gets fired. Do you give the reins to the Tax Dodger? Or how about Scotty Layden?

I'm betting Dennis already has a short-list of candidates. And I'll bet almost all of those are currently employed.

It wouldn't be negative if we had a coach instead of a moron leading the team.
