I'm watching D-Will playoff highlights against Denver from 2010 and its making me sad

I hope he does come back someday. He is one of my favorite players ever. He may be struggling lately, but I think he is better than that. A lot of things just aren't going his way right now. I don't think that Deron's play when he was here was a fluke. I still think he is a top point guard when healthy and on the right team.

Eric Bledsoe is playing in the tourney?
Just like KOC did with Big Al, i think he laid the groundwork for a trade at the deadline. It didn't happen this year because LAC have no guarantee CP3 will re-sign. But once he does, they'll have to trade Bledsoe. Utah has two 1st-rounders. I think the lottery pick (unless it's top-3) is a player they'll be selecting for the Clippers and they'll trade the rights to that player to LAC once CP3 signs on the dotted line.

I'd think i'd Take Burke over Bledsoe.

That was one of the best playoff series I've seen. Jazz were completely outgunned... Except for 1 position... Dwill.

Adrian Dantley was considered a top coaching prospect... Until after that series. Sloan dismantled him.

Movement in the offense?

I miss the players cutting through the lanes when they don't have the ball in their hands more than I miss D-Will.

Our offensive system is garbage with Corbin.

I actually think that was Sloan's best coaching job of his career (though maybe the first-round series win over Houston trumps it for winning game seven on the road). Such a fun series to watch.

Uhm, no. Sloan was forced to play Fesenko due to Memo injury. If Memo stayed healthy Denver would take that series even with Dantley as their HC.

Totally agree.

Some of the other great coaching jobs I think were his pounding down of the Lakers in the late 90s and of course the entire 03-04 season.

I will be cheering for him next sat night when I go to the game. In the world of jazz basketball he's a GOD!

Those were the days though. Being conservative and not signing Mathews (and replacing him with Bell) was the first domino to where we are today. It's that same conservatism to why Corbin is still coaching this team and will for years to come.
