Inaugural 2021 Jazzfanz All Time NFL Draft Signups.

@Thee Idiotic Minivan K - one suggestion I’d make on picking offensive positions would be to make it 3 WR, 1 RB, 1 TE and one flex player (another WR, RB, TE or a FB) - instead of just a FB for that 6th spot. It just makes for some more variation on styles of offense.

Also, it’s easier to run things if you’re just picking 5 offensive linemen instead of specific positions. Let people stick them wherever they want and it saves on a lot of headaches.

I’m down with whatever. I just want it to be the best competition for all. The one concern I have with doing a flex instead of a FB is that someone might trot out 4 wr’s against teams with only 3 cb’s. Is everyone ok with this? Also I changed it to five OL’s as Ellis suggested.

thoughts all?

4 wide isn’t any different than 3 WR and a TE. You can start a base defense, or switch to a nickel with front 6, 2 safeties and 3 CBs. Some teams will prioritize two dynamic RBs, two starting TEs, or a traditional TE/FB/RB and two wideouts.

In my experience with these things, a flex is better than a starting FB. The variety makes it much more interesting.
