Ingles - The Priority is Utah

so with three future max contracts that will take up 70% of the teams salary, most of the rest of the team is going to have to take somewhere between the vet min and the midlevel. Ingles for ten to fifteen doesn't fit this. neither does a lot of other players on the team. bold sad prediction: half of the team goes away because they are 'worth' more to other teams. Gonna be a hard couple years coming for those of you who like the bench players.

so if we made him a solid offer that would be one that is comparable to market right? doesn't have to be equal and he may help us on terms... like if he has a 3/36 maybe he takes a 4/42 here and it helps us configure the cap this year.

I just don't think they will tell him bring us an offer sheet to match.

He meant exactly what he said, nothing more, nothing less.

Am I the only one that finds unbelievable that someone that makes millions every year has to worry about how much they make?

Give me one yeat of Ingles money and I'm set for life! I thought that players that make that much money would be "more willing" to make "a little less" to make the team strong.

I talk about this all the time with a co-worker of mine. Give us a few million dollars and we would be set for life. But those NBA players live a different lifestyle than us, they need that baller money, haha.
