Interesting video about internet porn

It was very interesting. Thanks for the post.

can someone gimme the cliffs on the vid

My two takeaways:

A lot of people tend to think that they have some kind of mental disorder(and doctors agree with them and pile on the drugs) when in fact they could just stop looking at porn and that would heal many of those problems. Basically, a lot of people have been conditioned to believe porn is harmless, when really it can be very harmful and people have gotten misdiagnosed and haven't gotten the proper treatment they need because of that.

And the experience of porn is completely different than being with real people(a fact that maybe should be obvious) but your brain starts changing when you look at porn and play the fiddle enough that has negative consequences that carry into the real sexual experiences you may have.

Also, if you watch too much porn you will get ED and no one will want to play with your ***** anymore.

In Ted Bundy's last interview before he was executed, he spoke a lot about how porn screwed with his head and caused a lot of damage.

I was interested in the whole thing about the "Coolidge effect," which is not something I had heard of, but totally makes sense from an evolutionary point of view. Guys wanna bang as many women as possible, so they get horny again seeing a new woman even if their old partner is still ready and willing. Then with internet porn, as this guy puts it, "a guy can see more hot babes in ten minutes than his ancestors could see in several lifetimes." So we get overstimulated and all messed up... get ED, can't get it up for real sex.

Although if the birth rate went down across the globe, that wouldn't exactly be a bad thing...

Ted Bundy gave that interview to some anti-porn religious zealot (I forget his name) because he agreed to request clemency on Bundy's behalf if he gave an interview blaming porn for his "issues" with women. Bundy was desparate and this guy played him for a fool because he knew there was no way in hell the state of Florida wasn't going to fry his ***. By all accounts Bundy was a true authentic sociopath - he was torchering little animals when he was 4 or 5 years old, most likely way before he viewed or understood what pornography is.

As for the rest of the world, I can definitely see the concern with young kids/adolescents being over exposed to pornography in their formative years. But for the vast majority of people and couples who view porn - it's just like any other vice. Consumption in moderation is rarely a problem. And it also bears mentioning that sexual repression or denial could be just as dangerous as over-exposure.

Although when it comes to porn the hypocrisy in this country is off the charts. There are now well over 300 million internet sites dedicated to pornography registered in the US alone. More than the total US population. Someone has to be viewing all this porn - and they can't all be perverts.

I have far too much pride to watch porn, I would feel pathetic while doing it while the whole time I would be thinking "Is this what my life has come down to sitting on this computer watching porn?"

Very interesting video, I know many friends in their 20's that would much rather squeeze one out to porn then have sex with their wife. It's craziness. That's seems so depressing.
