Introducing The Last Stoked

And for the record it is the social convention in the United States to give kids conventional sounding names spelled in "unique" ways so the parents seem clever and the child is doomed to forever tell people "their" way to spell Emylee or Jayson or Kaleb.

Hmmm.. for what's it worth though I think Caleb spelt Kaleb is kinda cool... gives it a more 'edgy' feel.

It's cool, sure. Can really only tell when you read it though, otherwise it's like "hey Caleb nice to meet you". So these names have edgy feels to them to, unless you aren't reading them:

Jynniffer
Emylee
Jayson
Marq
Mykel
Georden
Rayan

But if you aren't reading it or being told how to spell it they are still

Jennifer
Emily
Jason
Mark
Michael
Jordan
Ryan

Still, they look cool.

Nah, I'm just poking fun. We have a daughter with an unconventional name where we went mostly traditional with our other kids. The worst example of giving kids either weird names or alternate spellings is my brother in law. He has 6 kids, 3 with purely made up names, 3 with more or less traditional names all spelled non-traditionally. I had this conversation with his daughter, Styrling, and his son, Huntrr (not kidding, replaced E with R). They hate it that they always have to spell their names, but they like that they area unique and different.

My wife's sister has two sons: Trycin (pronounced Try sin) and Keastin (pronounced Key stun). She openly admits to pulling those names out of her ***.
