I'll just note that you're presenting a claim as if it isn't debatable. That's fine—because this is teh internet.Dylan Harper was on that same Rutgers team and is absolutely a better prospect than Deron Williams was.

Ya some people seem to misunderstand the assignment. As draft prospects? No
The question as I understand it is "is ace bailey the best draft prospect in jazz history?"But why? Because pre draft analysis was wrong?
Jokic wouldn’t count either, I don’t understand why
It was a while ago but Deron was never considered a top 5 pick to my recommendation till after his ncaa tournament run. Tell me if I’ve got that wrong. In terms of top-tier upside I'll say probably. Deron Williams was pretty special though.
Honorable mention to DeShawn Stevenson. I remember nbadraft.net comped him to Michael Jordan and put out a "mea culpa" like 15 years later, LOL.
That’s fine, but if a single person, fan or draft analyst, had made a scouting report about what Jokic could be (would become) based on the skills he had as a prospect, would that then change things? The question as I understand it is "is ace bailey the best draft prospect in jazz history?"
So let’s imagine there was a draft thread on jazzfanz when jokic was drafted. How much hype and discussion do you think there would have been in that thread about jokic? Im guessing almost zero because he was not a very good draft prospect.
No sir it’s just my opinion.I'll just note that you're presenting a claim as if it isn't debatable. That's fine—because this is teh internet.
Based on what?Not at all
Jazz didn't draft Pistol Pete. Sorry about that! Are we counting Pistol Pete or no? Because if so, it was him.
