I just want to see the two start together.

should be start and finish from here to the end of the season, regardless of mistakes. If the Jazz like Marvin, they've done enough by him. They've seen who he is, and that he plays hard despite pain in a contract year. Now they can sit his *** and let him heal while they put all of their young talent in to the starting role to evaluate how they progress/regress. If they sit Marvin now, they can ensure that he doesn't get more than MLE in the offseason, thus making him a realistic role player in the future. Kanter needs those minutes. Kanter needs to be allowed to play through his mistakes, it's the only way he'll learn.
I'll admit that RJ has been a surprise this year, but by the time we are contenders, he'll be in assisted living, and thus all the minutes that went his way would have been a waste. He shouldn't be considered someone to bring back next year. Trade him, or sit him. Stop playing, despite his performance. We've done more for his career than any other team would have done--that should be enough. If no one else wants him by this point, that's not our fault.
I want to see our core five put into similar situations as one another, so then at season's end I can actually objectively assess their progression.
