Is Enes Kanter or Alec Burks More Likely To Be Traded?

If the Utah Jazz had to give up one of their two 4th year guys who would they likely part ways with? The answer is a tough one as both Enes and Alec play different position and bring different attributes to the game. The reason for this question is simple, the Jazz have options and trading up at either 5 or 23 could require offering Alec or Enes to make it happen.
So who are the Jazz offering first?
Enes Kanter- Although he had a slow start to the season and his defense was porous, his offense for a big guy is hard to look past. If Kanter starts shooting the 3 ball this would probably be an easier question. Enes came on strong at the end of the year and was in beast mode during the last couple months averaging 15 points and 12.8 boards in April in 30 minutes a game. Want to know how many players averaged at least those two stats? Just two: Kevin Love and Dwight Howard. Can Kanter do the same? I don’t see why not but the real question with him comes with his defensive liability. Can he get better or is he like Big Al and just doesn’t have it in him?
Alec Burks- What a baller he has become! Who in the NBA finishes as well as him? James Harden, Dwayne Wade, Derrick Rose… but not too many more as Alec has to be the king when it comes to making wildly athletic layups. His ability to drive puts him miles ahead of any other Jazz player in that category. Again his defense needs work and his 3 ball needs to be more consistent (44.6% in January!!). If he can figure out those two things his ceiling is very high, like perennial all-star high. He has great vision, but needs to pass more and his decision making needs to improve as well. He is one of the best rebounders for a 2 guard and is the best athlete on the Jazz.
Is it obvious who the Jazz would offer in a trade to move up? No I don’t think it is. However, if the Jazz are offering one of these two guys they better be getting back one of the top 4 guys or a very good veteran in return. I’d be sad to see either of these players go but if I HAD to let one of them go in a trade I believe Kanter would be that guy that they would offer first depending on the team.

Your thoughts and why?

I choose kanter trade if i have to pick but i hope we keep both

I think I'd wait until after the draft, at least, to decide.

I mean, what if we draft Smart? Vonleh?

Big men with touch tend to have more intrinsic value. I would think kanter would be higher on other GMs ladders than Burks.

but that goes both ways... if that's the case, our front office would be more willing to trade burks

Could be, but if we are going to actually try to get something done, by my logic i figure it'd have to be Kanter leaving. Other GMs might not see Burks as enough of a kicker to get a deal done.

Should I just message you about it?

COnsider it done.

On a serious note I'd think that Kanter is more likely to be traded. FO seems higher on Burks. I have nothing to base this on, just a gut feeling.

Nothing seems to be logical anymore.

I like both, but I like Burks game more at this moment. He can create his own shot and he tries to play defense. I'm not convinced Kanter tries to play defense, and if he's trying then that's probably even worse because it means he can't play defense. I do like his post game, but we have to have more defense, it's a must.

So... long story short I would think they look to shop Kanter before they look to shop Burks.
