Is Enes Kanter or Alec Burks More Likely To Be Traded?

but that goes both ways... if that's the case, our front office would be more willing to trade burks

Could be, but if we are going to actually try to get something done, by my logic i figure it'd have to be Kanter leaving. Other GMs might not see Burks as enough of a kicker to get a deal done.

Should I just message you about it?

COnsider it done.

On a serious note I'd think that Kanter is more likely to be traded. FO seems higher on Burks. I have nothing to base this on, just a gut feeling.

Nothing seems to be logical anymore.

I like both, but I like Burks game more at this moment. He can create his own shot and he tries to play defense. I'm not convinced Kanter tries to play defense, and if he's trying then that's probably even worse because it means he can't play defense. I do like his post game, but we have to have more defense, it's a must.

So... long story short I would think they look to shop Kanter before they look to shop Burks.

I don't think anyone is off limits, but I also don't see Burks and Kanter as value fetchers at this point. Both have had limited playing time compared to potential, that they have more value to us than someone else, IMO. Maybe I'm wrong. I just think our only value fetcher is Favors because he's more proven, plays D, and is signed to a great looking deal when you start to think about the salary cap increasing these next two years.

Hayward could move the needle for a lot of teams, but with FA being after the draft, a deal including him would be tricky.

Burke had a good rookie year compared to the other scrubs in his class, but has still left some serious questions unanswered, e.g., shooting, drawing fouls, pace, # of FGAs compared to FG % and ASTs.

Gobert hardly played. Showed great promise, but not enough to fetch his value. Given his minutes, you have to think that if another team wanted him like we do, he would've been drafted before the 27th pick.

My $.02
