Is Exum The Worst Player in The NBA Who Gets Minutes?

Chad "slick pimp" Ford

Utah Jazz
Chances of winning the lottery: 4.3 percent

The Jazz have a wealth of young talent right now. Dante Exum, while young, looks like he could be a potential superstar. Rudy Gobert is having a breakout sophomore campaign. Derrick Favors and Gordon Hayward have immense talent, as well. And Enes Kanter, Trey Burke and Alec Burks also have potential.

The Jazz don't really need more young talent, but if Okafor comes calling, they'll grab him, avoid having to pay Kanter a huge deal this summer in restricted free agency and put the best young front line in the NBA out there every night. Between Gobert and Favors' defense, and Okafor's offensive skills (think a better version of Al Jefferson, Jazz fans), the Jazz will be set for the next decade. We'll also be watching Russell closely here. His ability to play two positions and shoot the basketball is very attractive. The Jazz, I'm told, like him a lot.

Exum was projected to be the biggest project in the draft.

No.
During the draft some dude (capela? Cabaclo?) got drafted by Toronto and the commentators said he is two years from being two years away.

He is a bigger project.

I think that big guy the nuggets drafted was supposed to be a bigger project too. (Nursif or something?)

Peyton Manning threw the most picks in nfl history his rookie season.
Exum would never do that.

He would just hand the ball off or take a knee ;-)

and Okafor's offensive skills (think a better version of Al Jefferson, Jazz fans)

These are major words. While Big Al's defense left much to be desired, his old-school post up offensive talent has been unseen for years, a thing of beauty. If this is the case, adding a big like Okafor could make us such an overall force in the low post.

A thing of beauty? I think a lot here disagree with that! Al-ball was boring as hell.

I'm strictly talking about his post-up moves. You can't deny he's got the most effective pump fake and the widest range of moves to score under the basket, as well as a decent mid-range shot. He posts up in style, with great coordination and anticipating the defender's moves at all times. His impact on the team's offense may have not been a thing of beauty but individually you can't deny the skills.

I dunno. Jimmer, Jeremy Evans, Jsmooth, Boozer, and the NY Knicks roster is pretty bad.

Typical pre-draft overhype. Remember how last draft was supposed to have like 6 players who are going to come right in and destroy everyone? I actually recall people saying that Randle would be an immediate upgrade over Favors. LOL!
