Is Exum The Worst Player in The NBA Who Gets Minutes?

I guess my "agenda" is with those that post here that somehow Exum's stats "don't matter" because he is "just 19" and/or a rookie. There are plenty of other NBA players that have put up dismal stats like Exum and were "just 19" and/or were rookies. They have a lot in common: the overwhelming majority were busts. If Exum finishes this season with a 6.6 PER and negative VORP and win-shares, and then goes on to be an all-star, his career would be one of the greatest outliers in NBA history. But hey, here's hoping.

This fanbase has an overwhelming majority of people who hold out way too much hope for every young player to improve past the most lofty expectations, despite the obvious. If that bothers you then reading Jazz related content is going to be rough, at least for the 3-4 years before they turn on every one of these players as they always do. See: Enes Kanter.

You mean Sophomore. Should have been a Frosh last year.

Kind of. He graduated high school less than two years ago. Australia being on the other side of the world messed him up. I'm blaming him really sucking on that. We need to get Australia moved to the Northern Hemisphere before we draft another Aussie.

I don't know which one you mean, but it happens almost every game... I remembered this one in the game vs the Wizards and got it instead:

I don't know if it's as bad as the one you are referring to...

Thats not the one but hell yes and rep'd!

It's ridiculous that he hasn't started to convert some of the drives, or at least get free throws. It's not like he doesn't know that's what you are supposed to do. It's like he is fighting instinct to score the ball. He drives, looks like he is going to dunk, and then fakes out everyone on the court and just dribbles around. When he figures out that he is faster than 99% of the league, and that he will get free throws or a couple points every time he drives, he is going to be a force.

It's got to be what Freak was saying though, that he is too team oriented, probably with a little bit of being scared of contact while in the air.
