Is Favors still out?

I know everyone is joking about it. But why are the Jazz being so tight-lipped about Favors? Doesn't that seem strange? Look at how long he's been out now -- what is causing the back spasms? That is the real question, and how did he hurt his back. And when do they expect him back? They aren't saying anything; you would think they would. Or are the reporters just that bad at their job?

Maybe they're just holding him out because he's about to be traded. Jody, can you confirm?

Going to assume he hurt his back playing basketball. It's a pretty wild assumption, I know, but follow me on this one: He plays basketball a lot.

Yeah, but there are a lot of different ways and places you can hurt your back. Usually, it's the lower back that's most vulnerable. And ST, why would they trade Favors. Seems to be crazy. They'd have to be getting someone really good, like Blake Griffin, but I don't think Favors fits for the Clips ??? Then who else?

It was a joke. Remember last year when Jody Gennessey posted a fake trade rumor about Favors and a lot of us got our knickers in a twist?
 
I have not seen any word on Favors of Hood tonight but just read that Kobe is out and that Russell is questionable.

If the Jazz could get both back...

Now is the time to push. Having Hood, Gobert and Favors being available for games is a huge boost to the Jazz. We could end January the 6th seed.
 
At first I thought the Jazz were being safe with Favors with the other glut of injuries. But now that Rudy and Hood are back... I have the scaries.

Jazz have come out and straight up said there is nothing more than back spasms going on. They have ran a bunch of tests and everything is structurally fine. No bulging discs, nerve damage, bone bruises... only muscles spasms.
