What's new

Is Pulp Fiction the greatest film ever?

I felt Vanilla Sky is a bit unauthentic emotionally compared to the original, and Tom Cruise's over-the-top performance kind of kills it.

Over the top? Not at all. He was absolutely perfect in it minus a couple cheesy parts before the accident.

There Will Be Blood. I watched that stupid show for like an hour before I turned it off.

Nothing ever happened. Like a solid hour of watching grass grow. I'm surprised I hung in there that long. Who are the folks that like this show? (must be the same folks that watch golf on TV)

No taste.

Not one mention of "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" You people are all cultural Neanderthals.

Wait a second, is a movie with the underlying theme of the nonexistence of God one of your favorites?

Oh Brother... is one of the best, if only because a ****load of people don't get it but still love it.

No taste.

On another note, I don't get people who turn movies off or walk out. Even if a movie is terrible, I have to stay til the end just to know what happens.

I get not liking "There Will be Blood" but to act like it's such a terrible movie that it doesn't even warrant being finished, is ridiculous.

and LMFAO at a bunch of jaffzans bagging on Tarantino.

You can still enjoy his movies, you know. I don't get people who can't stomach the knowledge that different people may not share their tastes.
