Rudy averages 14 ppg and gets 11 rpg ...ok numbers but not leader numbers .There's no question how effective he is on the defensive end though .
But without Rubio ,this Jazz team would be in big trouble .Rubio has taken over as the leader of this team just by his will to win and Jazz players are following his lead.

"Leader numbers"? Bah... this simply isn't that kind of team. I hope people can begin to understand the Jazz outside of the tradition of scoring stars + bench.
Rubio simply wouldn't be able to play the way he does on this team without Gobert laying the foundation for it to happen on both ends of the floor. Compared to other Jazz players, Gobert's gravity is monstrous. Rubio is a functional satellite that revolves around that gravity and just happens to handle the ball.

this team is the avengers. each member brings something to the whole, and they are all leaders in their own field. rudy: defensive leader. ricky: distribution. dante: energy. ingles: personality/spirit. Favors: power.
you know how captain america is the leader of the avengers, but really is far from the strongest one? ricky can do this. take these massively poewerful players and point them toward wins.
