What's new

Israel Commences Ground Invasion into Gaza.

Actually, you would tell yourself that your sister would not be caught and raped, and then proceed to do what you were going to do anyhow. That's how humans behave, for the most part.
Maybe so

Eh, to a point yes. I think if it becomes a likely threat and not just a possible one then people will take notice and change their behaviour.

actually it depends on the culture and upbringing.
not every cultute is the same. eventhough usa likes to think that.

Sometimes one photo can do as much as a year's worth of talking... this photo was posted the other day. makes you think... I know it made me.

so, i cant state fact. because that fact is heinous and despicable?
that censorship bro. seriously i tried to be respectful in stating the fact.
then i get attacked by haxors and ectya.

ooh well thats the world we live in people telling others waht they cant do and cant say
Lol, what are you talking about? Did I censor you? How could I do? You have every right to state your opinions as you DID and I have every right to say "Unbelievable!" against it, as I did. That's what just happened. And it wasn’t even particularly towards you. Plus, believe me I know how awful the censorship is. You can count on me about this one, because I am living under it.

However, I have big, big problems with that so called professor, ex-IDF, speaking in that way. There are just so many wrong things about it. The hate he spits, the misogyny, multiple semi-subliminal messages, labeling, the associations and the assumptions with the Palestinian people and so on. Under the Hamas hate, there is also encouragement to the brainless zealots. This is much much more than a simple fact calling statement.

It's not much different than the Israeli parliamentarian Ayelet Shaked encouraging Israel to kill Palestinian mothers so they can not give birth to monstrous enemies, the little snakes in her words. She also wanted the IDF to demolish all their houses because they are the places that little snakes are raised.

Anyway, we are talking here about an Israeli academic(!) coming out in public and literally saying; “raping Palestinian women would be the ONLY way for the attacks to stop!” Fact calling? It definitely has a strong suggestions underlying but I’ll come to that later.

First things first, lets talk about his brilliant determination that they wouldn’t stop unless if you threaten to rape their women! Really?

How about this idea for instance? Stopping occupying and stealing their lands and bombing their homes? Removing the siege and giving them the same rights with Israeli people and giving them the freedom that every human being deserves? Setting their children and families free from the jails? Letting the humanitarian aid to the Palestinians?

But for the Israeli government, all these are even more inapplicable than the factious fact calling of the nut-job professor.

And everyone talks about the Hamas rejecting Israeli Ceasefire, which turned out to be a one-sided and unilateral offer that Hamas heard only through the media. But no one talks or even knows about Israel rejecting a greatly fair Truce offer from Hamas.

But of course it also had conditions that are inapplicable for Israel’s liking, similar to the ones I mentioned shortly before.

Withdrawal of Israeli tanks from the Gaza border.

Freeing all the prisoners that were arrested after the killing of the three youths. (They pulled in a lot of Palestinians without any kind of evidences whatsoever)

Lifting the siege and opening the border crossings to commerce and people.

Establishing an international seaport and airport which would be under U.N. supervision.

Increasing the permitted fishing zone to 10 kilometers.

Internationalizing the Rafah Crossing and placing it under the supervision of the U.N. and some Arab nations.

International forces on the borders.

Easing conditions for permits to pray at the Al Aqsa Mosque.

Prohibition on Israeli interference in the reconciliation agreement.

Reestablishing an industrial zone and improvements in further economic development in the Gaza Strip.

But, anyway, lets go to the rape fantasies again.

Let’s read it anew:

Kedar: “You have to understand the culture in which we live. The only thing that deters [Hamas leaders] is a threat to the connection between their heads and their shoulders.

(Implying to beheading the Hamas leaders, much more reasonable so far, definitely arguable at least.)

Then , Yossi Hadar asks if that “could filter down” the organization’s ranks.

Kedar : “No, because lower down the considerations are entirely different.”

(Reasonable also, it’s logical to think that there could be difference between the heads and the base of the Hamas. But don’t forget that, as you go lower down through any kind of terrorist organization, you will get closer to the common/regular people, only the ones of course, who are deceived and brainwashed by the people on the upper levels.

Now from here, he astonishingly manages to spill all the hatred and loathing he has, his misogyny, the labeling and the subliminal messages etc.)

Kedar: “Terrorists, like those who kidnapped the boys and killed them, the only thing that will deter them, is if they know that either their sister or mother will be raped if they are caught. What can we do? This is the culture that we live in –”

Yossi Hadar: “– Yes, this sounds bad, but…”

Kedar: “It sounds very bad, but this is a lesson. This is the Middle East. Only the knowledge that –"

Hadar: “Well, we can’t do things like this –”

Kedar: “I’m telling you, I’m talking about them, I’m not talking about what we can do or not do. I’m telling you what they live in. This is the only thing that deters a suicide bomber. If he knows that when he pulls the trigger, or blows himself up, his sister will be raped. That’s it. That’s the only thing that will bring him back home, to keep the honor of his sister. This is the culture of the Middle East. I didn’t create it, but this is the situation.”

First, how about the culture that the WORLD live in. At least the Western World. In that culture, the Muslims are already terrorists. The only missing thing is the definition in the dictionaries. And the Palestinians? They are even more terrorists than the regular Muslims. For most of the outsiders, everything this professor saying is going right on to the Palestinian people as a label, along with Hamas. You guys are walking right into the trap too. Readily accepting his scientific(!) facts about the people and cultures you know very very little about.

By the way, the chances are great, Keidar could have suggested that Israel should consider adopting the said rape tactic if he were in a conversation with his friends. Because, imo, his speech changes tones through the dialog. He almost sounds like he actually realizes how moronic and hideous he starts to talk at one point and kinda backtracks masterfully. But still, stands behind his rape fantasy.

And again don't forget that this guy is a veteran military intelligence officer who served 20 years to the IDF. It also wouldn’t shock me to learn that he might have had the same sort of thinking way about the women of enemy as an officer in the army where he wouldn’t have much worries to recount or impose his opinions.

Anyway, now lets talk about the impacts of his statements. Not the context, but the impacts of the context.

Do you think, his words would bring more people closer to the peace, or make them behave in the opposite direction?

Could making such threats or even talking about it as a fact(!) really stop the real terrorists? Or, could it actually and only incite them even more?

Doesn’t he really give to the stupid zealots the idea of actually applying his brilliant tactics, and give them some half-baked legitimacy, at least in their minds?

Wouldn’t his words help his enemies to think the exact same way? Like, could raping the mothers and sisters of IDF soldiers who killed Palestinian kids deter them soldiers from their murders? Or soldiers don't count cause they have uniforms on them?

At the end, this is seriously a sick way of thinking, in every aspects. Not a single real professor with a clear mind, heart and conscience would dare to speak such evil sh*ts out of their mouths, especially in the public. They would know about the power of the words. They would know that this kind of speeches would simply increase the hate and enmity and subliminally encourage the unconscionable or brainless people of their nations, especially their soldiers. They would know, when you think and talk like this you also actually give the same or worse ideas and hate acts to your enemy towards you. If you think and state that raping the women of your enemy is the only way to stop them, what do you think your enemy will think about you and stopping you?

Btw, I’ve heard some people saying that he’s an academic and they talk about this kind of things all the time, but that plea would be valid only if they did it in an abstract debate as a third party and on a very academic level with all the positive-negative approaches around the ideas and concepts. This guy however, spoke this **** in the radio right after a murder incident, in the middle of an actively ongoing conflict with full of hatred on the both sides. This guy, in the name of debating how to stop Hamas, is doing nothing but provoking his people and Hamas against each others even more. Hate speeches like this from the either side, will always keep both sides held back.

Also, you should know which other people have thought and talked this way before. The Nazis thought and talked this way, the Japanese commanders thought and talked this way, the Klu-Klux Clan thought and talked this way and all the racists thought and talked this way before. And naturally, none of them did leave it at only thinking or talking. So, I have little doubt that if this guy had the power in his hands, he might go over speaking as well.

Now, for the most important subliminal message within his horse ****.

It’s a huge justification message for the Israeli oppression and acts over the Palestinians and a sympathy trap. It carries the feeling, “Look, how helpless Israel is, who they are trying to deal with! Israel is fighting against such monsters that they could only deter with only even more barbaric and brutal manners. But they can’t, because they are not monsters like Palestinians!”.

Yeah, of course. Even the interferences of Yossi Hadar, the interviewer, sound very tragicomic to me. “Yes, this sounds bad, but –“, “But we can’t do things like this-“.

Lol, Mr. Hadar, you are very funny. Let’s say I believe that you can’t do things like that however, you can do many as bad. You can kill as many Palestinian as you want, children, old, disabled, civilian doesn’t matter. You can punish the whole Palestinians for the acts of the terrorists. You can bomb the hell out of everything, without targeting, with your jets from the air, navy from the sea and finally tanks from the ground. You can invade Palestine whenever you want and have a blood fest. You can kill almost 900 Palestinian in just two weeks (July 8 through July 22).

You can kidnap as many Palestinians as you want. Like you detained 2,330 Palestinians whom hundreds of are children and held them in Israeli prisons, God knows in which conditions, only between the January 1 to May 31 in 2014. You can do it because the media only gets interested when Israelis are kidnapped and held prisoner by Palestinians.

You can also get away with all of your murders. In the first half of 2014, your citizens murdered about 30 Palestinians including 4 children. But none of the Israeli murderers were judged. And the Western world haven’t reported on any of these murders. However, absolutely everyone in the world was made aware of the three Israelis abducted and killed in June. And on top of it, they supported and justified you to start a raging one sided war over it. The "Operation Protective Edge".

Protective, my ***!

Like I said, since that **** began(July 8 through July 22), Israeli forces have killed 857 Palestinians, 190 of them children. And they managed to get a staggering %75+ targeting success, but not at shooting targets, at shooting civilians. From time to time you could hit some militants too, I have to give you that.

I say, hell of a pinpoint operation! Just like John Kerry babbled it out just before reciting his memorized crap.

I stand for the little fish not the big. That's my style.

But, not rooting for the little fish to harm the big one either. And when it's about humans, I always try to speak for the peace and justice. Because, humans aint fish. They can actually do better, if they want enough.

It's horrible. What incident is it from?

From one of the incidents described in the following article:
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/un-to-stop-updating-death-toll-in-syria-conflict-9045096.html

Which was reposted a few days ago as a photo from Gaza.

So was the case with other photos as well:
https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/07/09/bbcs-old-gaza-image-information-war_n_5569869.html

Or the case where a Hamas rocket hit the UNRWA school inside the Gaza strip instead of Israel, killing 15 people, while claiming it was an Israeli attack. You can compare the two pictures bellow. One is from a rocket hit in Israel, the other is from the UNRWA school. Please notice the distinct mark the self-manufactured Hamas rockets leave when they hit the ground. The shallow crater, created as a result of contains more shrapnel than high explosive, which is the one crucial difference between military grade ammunition and other types of ammunition that do not comply with Geneva Conventions.

And even this:
https://pamelageller.com/2014/07/relying-bbc-propaganda-methods-hamas-uses-horror-film-still-fake-teenager-killed-gaza-israel.html/

The point of this post -
I'm not manifesting cheap propaganda and I'm not trying to convince you to change your mind. What I'm trying to do is to light a lot of false information that keeps being spread around. Hamas's PR are top notch, among the best you may find, and they know how to gain support. Also, keep in mind a lot of the journalistic sources from Gaza are heavily monitored by armed Hamas representatives. The fact that not a single picture of armed Hamas forces leaked out, not a single video of rocket firing from Gaza, although thousands have been officially fired, Not a single mentioning of delayed IDF operations because of civilian activities, must raise a red flag.

I strongly recommend that you read the following article, which was taken down from the french newspaper's website due to the reporter's request:
