Israel-Hamas War

That official told reporters that the U.S. continues to push Israel to allow more aid into Gaza by land, saying it's the "most-efficient, cost-effective" option.
It is important to know how fake this narrative is. The border crossings are open for aid deliveries. If you showed up with a big truck full of food for the Gazans, the Israeli soldiers would inspect the load to make sure there were no weapons and then waive you into Gaza. It isn’t hard to get aid through the checkpoint and into Gaza.

The difficult part is getting the aid from the border to the interior of Gaza. In one border crossing alone, there are over 450 trucks full of aid that have crossed into Gaza but are sitting there because no one wants to deliver the aid out of fear of the driver being killed by Hamas and having their truck stolen. The UN has stopped all aid deliveries into Gaza for this reason.

The U.N.'s World Food Program (WFP) announced Tuesday that it was pausing deliveries of food aid to the north of Gaza "until conditions are in place that allow for safe distribution." … "Several trucks were looted between Khan Yunis and Deir al Balah and a truck driver was beaten. The remaining flour was spontaneously distributed off the trucks in Gaza City, amidst high tension and explosive anger," WFP said in a statement. "The decision to pause deliveries to the north of the Gaza Strip has not been taken lightly, as we know it means the situation there will deteriorate further and more people risk dying of hunger."

The United States has done three airdrops now to get around Hamas killing aid drivers, but if we’re being honest, it is only for the dramatic video to make it look like something is being done. Three airdrops aren’t enough to even make a dent in the issue, and although everyone claims it is the Jews stopping the aid, it is Hamas stopping the aid.

What are the conditions of the surrender?
It would likely be along the lines of all hostages being freed, all Hamas members being subjected to a system of justice, a complete disarmament of the enclave, and acceptance of an Israeli force to temporarily provide security while the civilizational infrastructure was reconstructed.

Surrender is how wars end. If they want an end to war then do what ends wars.
Interesting.... Did the US surrender to Afghanistan? Has the Taliban been in charge since 2021? That would actually explain a lot about some of our current policies.
Lets be honest the US has no ****ing clue how to end wars, and it's well past time they figure it out.

Did the US surrender to Afghanistan?
The fighting in Afghanistan continued until the ANDSF surrendered to the Taliban and then the war in Afghanistan stopped. Surrender is how wars end. If Gaza wants an end to war then they need to do what ends wars.

Caitlin Johnstone certainly summed it up-

“The difference between Republicans and Democrats is that Republicans want to keep destroying Gaza because they love killing Muslims, whereas Democrats want to keep destroying Gaza because something something it’s all Netanyahu’s fault anyway hey let’s go back to talking about Trump.”

Israel is attacking gaza. Maybe there are Republican and Democratic Israelis and if so, then by all means hit them with some blame. Also throw a bunch of blame at Hamas.

US aren't destroying gaza though.

ya ya something something Netanyahus fault anyway, lets talk about trump dur dur

Washington Post reports that there were over 100 other arms deals for "lethal aid" that have been sent to Israel since Oct 7th.

"Over 30,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 71,000 wounded in Gaza since October 7, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, which says about 70% of the casualties are women and children. Despite the massive civilian casualty rate, the US is looking to give Israel another $14 billion in military aid on top of the $3.8 billion it receives each year."

Why would Gazans trust the IDF to act in good faith?

I didn't mention Trump. Weird that you did.
You will have to show some video of US troops firing this weaponry. Until then, you are wrong to say that the US is destroying gaza.

Aid can't kill. Money can't kill.

It's like blaming a gun for a death. The gun can't kill without the person pulling the trigger.

Because it is a possible path to a peaceful and maybe even prosperous future for their children while maintaining the status quo means dooming their children to war and starvation. Currently the Gazans are choosing the latter and demanding the world feel sorry for Gazans reaping the consequences of their own choices.

That hasn't worked so well for the West Bank.
