Wonder if that's only because the practice facility is still under construction. I think it would still be a good idea next year to arrange a San Diego trip. As great as Salt Lake is, it would still be nice for the players to get away.

But can these trips be arranged for by the Jazz? It's not like they could be mandatory; wouldn't that kind of constitute an early start to training camp? Outside of the players involved in summer league, how much involvement can coaches or training staff have with players between the end of the season and opening of camp?

Either Burks has BO from working out, or Joe was told not to get even remotely close to his glass shoulders.
 
Probably the most impressed by Johnson sticking around. What can he possibly improve on? And he's in the final season of his contract. It would certainly be understandable if he just showed up at training camp. Probably can't keep him after this season with Hood, Exum and Favs due raises (if all are re-signed), but just a great example. Maybe if no one goes after him, he'd accept the vet minimum.
