What's new

It's happening bros...

I think Ariza is good! Rockets lost Parsons and everyone in Houston thought they'd lose a step but instead only improved!!

yup. Go to any Rockets forum, and ask them if they miss Parsons.

The idea is they don't want to go over the cap paying for him in RFA. They also need a future big to pair with Adams. We'll probably need to take Perkins off their hands also.

Right, so why aren't they worried about Kanter and going over the cap when he hits RFA?

pls list every 'available' shooter that can defend right now.

ppl have found a single one that could maybe potentially be available, and there is talks of signing him for 8 figures.

We also already have Hood and Novak, and there's that draft pick this year too.

I like Oubre because he reminds me of Ariza. That said, if there's another guy that's 6'8" with 7' length arms that plays wing available later in the draft, then I'd pass on Oubre. It's just that the sheer physical skills have huge impact on the nba game.

Yet people actually guard Ariza on the perimeter, and contest his shots. Whereas teams in the playoffs literally ignore Allen when defending him. Memphis can't even play him as much as they want consequently.

You're getting clowned, bruh.

What am I getting clowned in? Why are you trying to make this into an argument? I just don't think Ariza is that good, mainly because of consistency issues. Is he like your 2nd cousin or something?

You having some problems today man?

Ouch!!!

I don't think Ariza is terrible, but the contract he's on is not looking like the bargain some thought it might be. He's a nice overall player, but if he's not hitting a good % from three he's not a game-changer. Don't see any way he's still starting anywhere by the end of that deal.

But why are the Rockets winning? It's got to be all those darned turnovers they're creating. That team is a beast defensively. They bungle up everything the other team is trying to accomplish.

And Middleton is younger; more likely to improve.

ANd he is a consistent knock down shooter. He doesn't have the high volume like some do, but that is because he actually has more game than just a 3pt shot. I think he has a lot of room to improve as his floor game improves. I actually think he is more than just a shooter.
