What's new

It's happening bros...

Statistically he's one of the very best 3 and D guys! Best SG at defensive RPM, shoots >40% from 3 in two consecutive seasons. The thing with him is, this is the very first season he's shown anything close to this defense. Last year he was much worse...

In general, it will be a projection payment. If you project him to be this level of defender 12M won't be a bad contract. If you think this season is an aberration, it could be a gross overpayment.

Sure, I've seen a bit of Middleton actually. Bucks are one of the teams I have watched a good amount of games of. I was really wondering if if his $12 million a year would be worth it to the Jazz in particular. We still do have Hood and Burks.

Honestly boy toyz, I think Kanter will have a similar career arc as Zach Randolph. Randolph had almost all the same weaknesses early in his career. We should hold on to him and try to make him happy. Jazz hold all the leverage.

It would make sense for us to hold onto him if we didn't have another option at the 5.

Favors is simply a better suited 4, and Kanter will never be able to touch Gobert at the 5.

Good ****ing riddance-- even if he becomes a 6'11 ZBo

Well, thread started because Woj, who is very credible said that a 3-team deal involving Kanter was being negotiated. He later made an update that deal was unlikely to go through. Other than that, it's been your typical empty rumors.

Weird. I never saw that.

You tarded bro?

He is worth 7 for sure, and 8 most likely. I'd pay him whatever we are paying Burks.

Total typo. Meant to type 8 figures-- as in not worth more than ten mill.

He isn't.

No thanks. I'd rather not keep a disgruntled player with so many flaws because it turned out okay for another. Let's go with the superior bigs who want to be here.

I wonder why our asking price is so high. Why keep a bad player who doesn't want to be here, and who is being backed up by a better player? Take what you can get and move on.

Kanter, GS pick, and a Brooklyn 2nd rounder for Khris + filler. I don't think it would take that much-- but that is literally how much I would offer for Khris right now.

Cuz Dennis is smart as ****, and he's trying to pull off a highway-robbery. Young bigs with gifted offense, at age 22-23 are rare. Especially those willing to be traded on rookie contracts. When's the last time a big on a rookie contract averaging 14/8 was traded? Was it for pennies?
