I tweeted the exact same question to Locke about the tweet. I would suspect that Gobert/Favors is better than any of these lineups.

The problem with such small sample sizes is that a few games where a player plays garbage minutes can affect the numbers significantly.

It is really pathetic that after years of bashing Kanter he now comes to his rescue to try and save face in the event a trade is not made. This is a purposely deceitful use of statistics that confirms what anti numbers guys try and argue, data can be manipulated to make an argument. Locke is a disgrace to the analytic's community and should just stop trying to be Kevin Pelton. I am sure he has not been educated in the science of analytic's and is just trying to hop on coat tails to sound smart and justify his position.

I have a degree in statistics. The numbers he is citing are pointless. They say nothing about Kanter's defensive ability, which actually doesn't require a degree in statistics to understand.
