Is now a Bull. The Bucks rescinded their qualifying offer.
I actually think that going home to Chicago is a great move for Jabari. He needs some career rehab before his career has even gotten going. Amazing how bad that 2014 draft was in hindsight. I’ll GLADLY take the “weak” 2013 draft above 2014 all day long.Good deal for both sides imo... jazz clearly don’t think he’s a fit. They could have figured it out.

That’s true. Still, if the relationship had soured to the point that he needed to move on, it was really professional of the Bucks to rescind the offer and let him find a deal that he liked. Under the CBA, you can’t do an offer sheet for less than three years with no options. There was no way he was getting a decent 3 year deal. This way, Chicago could offer the big money on a 2 year deal with the team option on that second year so that they could protect themselves if it didn’t work out. $20 million for one (maybe two) seasons is a lot more than I thought he’d get. Makes me appreciate Favors even more.Kinda silly they didnt move him at the deadline and now get nothing for a former #2 pick.
he, elton brand, and rony seikaly would have made an amazing front court of players that were never really as close to being jazzmen as most fans come to believe that they were.
Agree. Very good of the Bucks to do that. Organizations that act with class will build good relationships with agents. That’s true.
