Nope, his value changed when he signed the massive extension he got. When he was making 17M a year he quite literally was the best value contract in the entire league.Ya I still believe in Lauri.
Seems like many jazz fans now think he isn't very good anymore because of his performance this season.
I think his performance this season is part of tanking and when we aren't tanking we will be very glad to have him on the roster.

His average annual salary going forward is 49M a year. That is fair value but it’s no longer a value contract. So he lost value based on that to me. It also makes it a lot harder to trade him because other teams have to match salary and a lot of the teams that would be interested are in the tax or over the apron.
