Jackpotting Around: A Utah Jazz Podcast

Generally, 30 minutes is all I can give, but trade deadline should be exciting and I had no problem listening to the full hour. Some other subjects though is another story. My biggest thing is just don’t spend too much time on one segment. Less is more.
I'm the opposite. The longer the better.

And release them on weekdays, not weekends.

Good work. Enjoyed it. Nice work!!

I too like a shorter format fwiw. Also get into Apple or whatever RSS feeds that lets my overcast or pocketcast-like apps find you. If you need hosting, reach out.

I think more of the former with parts of the ladder sprinkled in.
Ladder reminds me of a joke I heard.

You have a step ladder your using to paint or whatever and you say to someone, "this is my step ladder, I never knew my real ladder"
Dad joke

Finally clicked the link to see if I can listen to it and I can! Don't need Spotify or whatever so that's a good start.
I will listen to it when I go back to work on Wednesday and give my thoughts.

Listening now.

HH has a solid podcast voice. Easy to understand, solid pacing. Can't pronounce Olynyk.

Thank you. I heard it when I said it and was like why’d you say it that way lol.
Wish there was more banter. Elizah needs to talk more(?) Honestly y'all sound kind of similar so sometimes I forget who is talking.
I think we will get better with this too and I agree. Right now I think both of us are too mindful of interrupting the other.

Very constructive… thank you.

I really enjoyed the podcast. I particularly like the jazz focus combined with lack of agenda being imposed by jazz sources.

I agree with others suggestions that a little more scripted intro would properly bait the hook to keep everyone interested.

I also admit that the last 30 minutes of the pod dragged on a little more than I wanted. IMO the best trade ideas deserved the full the treatment but some other trades would been better served with a less in-depth analysis.

I also echo others that small nerdy basketball jokes really can add to the listenability of a pod.

Thanks for doing this I hope to hear more great analysis in future pods.
