Jackpotting Around- Accountability and The Sacred Timeline

Collier has been nice, not trying to shoot strays. But an extremely young ~6’ 5” PG mid-range master with solid indicators that he will extend his range and excelled in a major conference is a really nice piece to have. Seems like we’ve been having a continuous conversation about adding a big ballhandling guard to allow smaller scoring guards to stay on the floor for forever now. I am a little frustrated we keep leaving players on the shelf that could help answer that, seemingly, perpetual issue.
@SoberasHotRod i seem to recall ranting about this in another thread to you and/or @fishonjazz . So yeah, he was a prime candidate and the candidate field seemed open to me. Cody did not read to me as a worthy prospect at all and I got the receipts (hopefully he turns it around, I’m not routing against him or anything but ****ing WOOF).

50/39 shooting splits with 17 PPG....
That’s well and good. I think he’s low key a cancer (does not give a single **** about winning while being insufferably self-righteous in his rhetoric — people like that have a tendency of rubbing people that figure them out the wrong way on a constant simmer but without great opportunities to address the problem because they’ll never cop and they’ll never be an outright jerk either).

Im not fully aware of what youre talking about? How was he cancerous?

You were 100% right about Bub over Cody.

Bub still has a lot to work on though, it's not 100% clear that he will ever be an NBA starting level player.

Well his teams are always trash for one. His whole locker room thing is being a borderline preacher and I’ve heard rumblings that teammates do not dig it. Combine that with the laid back attitude about winning and his track record thereof, being paid an insane amount of money, not exercising his trade clause in basically any scenario, and missing a ton of games. There’s a lot of stink on him, his rep is bad. I know someone like that would drive me up the wall.

I agree he’s definitely not a minimum player. He’s just kind of a turd. Would be a nice get for a team that just needs some buckets at the right price.

If the Wizards get top 4 then they were won it in the lottery

If they get #5, then they didn't win the lottery but the Jazz did so they have the worst record when we switch to order at #5

If they get #6, then neither of us won top 4, but we still have a worse record so we get 5 and they get 6
I don’t get it.

I mean what does them getting #6 have to do with us not getting the top pick. That’s makes no sense to me.

The only way for them to end up at 6 is because 4 team behind them won the lottery. That would mean we didn't win the lottery either.

If we win the lottery there are only 3 possible teams that could also win the lottery, meaning they would be at worst 5th.
