Why did Hardy sit Conley for the last minutes at the end? He let JC to run it although Conley is much more efficient at it. Was there something I missed?

Yes, Hardy was intentionally tanking tonight.

I agree, Hardy is managing the tank even it is not something he can admit. Lauri sitting in the 4th is the perfect example we are not trying anymore to win. Which make sense for me. The FO see what many of us see. We are not good enough to expect anything this yer. Fighting like dogs to end 8-10 has zeo interest. Losing as much as we can and get lucky in the lottery if the best we can do right now. Not exciting to end the season but this is the reality for me .

You want to watch 40 more games of miserable losing? Followed by drafting some dude who'll never be half as good as Lauri? Or even Sexton? And who'll take 3 to 4 years to develop, meaning more losing years?

Hey, have fun. At that point I'm out. And if people think Markkanen will sign a multiyear deal with a team that sabotaged his career best season and can offer only more losing in the future - when he's in his absolute prime - they're wrong.

Seems like i bring up how bad KO is every game lately……
30 minutes, 2-7, 0-3, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 fouls, 6 points.

I would love to see his stats over the last 15 games or so. He has been garbage. I have been wanting the jazz to trade him but he has tanked his trade value so much they probably can’t

Tanking is and should be absurd concept, if having better chances to reach the championship than some unproven random surplus dude to be added to an end of ever lengthening line of picks, prospects, future hopes, and what ever.

To maximize that chance, it would only require some sort of common sense. There is a dude who just put 19pt (with 100% shooting, mainly from perimeter), in 20 mins of his 2nd NBA game, and still coach decides to play with that same old laundry.

Jazz can replace 3 out 5 starters any night, and when doing that they won't appear better in their tanking chances. That such tanking must be done against the very idea of tanking doesn't fit to my hat, no ****ing way.

It was intentional loss, and not for the tank, but against the tank!

Not a good game by Mike. If you only look at box stats you would say he's fine he had 7 assts but actually he's not. KO also got targeted on defense.

The 21-6 run midway through the 4th quarter was a killer when the Jazz were up by 7 at the time. This is where coach could have called a time out and run a play to stop the bleeding but nooooooooooo!!!!!!

Nice to see Lauri aggressive. He has started almost all games from outside to in but tonight he started from inside slamming. Combined to his down-trending 3pr shooting it might lead to missing his jumpers. i think he made just two jumpers tonight but still scored 28 on decent efficiency. Did not get to the line much bc Bulls know not to foul him when he is going for dunks.

Plus he played 4 years at kansas and just won a title. If any rookie would be ready for playing time it would be one in that exact college environment.

Plus this is the year to play dudes and see what they got.

Kessler just gets less and less minutes each game lately.
13 minutes tonight. 2-3 from the field and 7 rebounds. He did have 5 fouls. Let him foul out though. What would be so bad if that happened.

Nickeil has had some success defensively against DeRozan in the past. Just sayin.

So weird he cant get a minute of time while sexton is hurt.
Hell, he looked like the best point guard on the entire team, comley included, when he was getting lots of minutes in consecutive games.
