What's new

It feels like Collier has been much more under control the last few games.
Yeah. I've been pretty happy with Collier lately. He's been making less dumb mistakes, finding open people and is starting to understand how you control the pace in the NBA.

He still can't shoot and playing him together with Sexton is a disaster, but right now he's the most game-ready of the youngins.

Surprisingly good fight. Bad news for the tanking plans is, that if we made (especially Lauri was cold) just three more three pointers along the game, this would have probably been a really close game with a change to fight for a win. If most of these guys play next few weeks, Jazz win all of them tanking teams

Kessler continues to play great
16 points (7-9), 13 rebounds, 2 blocks
He's playing like a veteran.

My main gripe with Kessler (other than his obvious non-shooting) was always his inability/unwillingness to stretch his defense out to the perimeter, but he's made real strides there lately. These days Walker is actually trying to contain ballhandlers AND still recovering hard to challenge shots near the rim.

He looks like a 100% different player than last season.

I was watching the game with Suns announcers and MAN they were repulsed by Svi. Second quarter they started by saying "this dude is gonna shoot himself to the bench" and 4th quarter they were like almost bashing him for all the bad shots and passes he had made in the game.

Its rare to see opposing team announcers go into the mode where they are like "why are they playing this guy", but Svi made it happen in this game.
